Heart&Stroke Walkabout™
Heart & Stroke Walkabout is excited to announce our Walkabout San Francisco contest. We have partnered with the Nova Scotia Egg Producers to send one lucky Nova Scotian and a friend to San Francisco for 5 days and 4 nights. San Francisco is one of the most walkable cities in North America, and we are really excited about the contest this year. The contest closes on June 15 and the winner will be drawn and announced on June 18.
Please pass the word on to your networks as many of them will likely want to enter the contest.

“Thursdays For Fitness” Childcare
It all started with the Learn -To- Run program and grew to include the new Wolfville Triathlon Club when childcare was offered to participants. We have some wonderful high school students lined up to offer affordable childcare while you take part in fitness/active living programs or activities you might organize with a friend or group of friends. Childcare will be available from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Wolfville Recreation beginning Thursday, September 24th. Pre-registration is required and cost will depend on numbers, but we hope that we can keep it to a toonie each week or $24 for a 12 week period (Sept 23-Dec 9th). Please call 542-3019 for more information. |
