Tips for Community Living

• Information and regulations concerning parking are available from the Town Office. On-site parking regulations for your dwelling should be specified in your lease.
• Information on the Town noise bylaw, dog bylaw, public alcohol consumption, fire and property standards is available on both the Acadia University and Town of Wolfville web sites. Keep this information on a bulletin board or in an easily accessible place in your residence.
• The Town of Wolfville is proud of its heritage and status as a tourist destination. The standards of appearance of the main Street business district as well as the residential neighbourhoods are very important to all members of this community.
• Observe the general standards of appearance in your neighbourhood. Try to make an extra effort to keep trash, old furniture, beer bottles, newspapers, and other items properly stored and not just left out with the hope they will eventually disappear. If you wake up one morning and find trash or beer bottles in front of your residence, pick them up even though you did not throw them there. Taking these steps will improve community relations with your neighbours.
