Town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia

Wolfville, NS (August 9, 2011) – Wolfville Town Council is pleased to announce that after completing an extensive search, a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) has been hired!

Ms. Diane Mombourquette will begin her new job as CAO for Wolfville on September 15.  Originally from Nova Scotia, Ms. Mombourquette is a Chartered Accountant who has a solid track record of financial and administrative management.  She has spent much of her career in British Columbia, having worked as Director of Finance for Tourism Whistler.  She also brings solid municipal government experience as the former General Manager of Economic Viability and Acting CAO for the Resort Municipality of Whistler.

“We are very excited to welcome Ms. Mombourquette to Wolfville” said Mayor Robert Stead.  “She brings a wealth of experience and will be a great fit for our town!”

As Wolfville’s CAO, Ms. Mombourquette will be responsible for providing advice and support to Town Council, leading the development of a robust economic development plan, partnering with management to build a positive workplace culture, defining our financial objectives, and most importantly, service objectives that will ensure the Town of Wolfville delivers the greatest value to all residents, for years to come.
