Municipal Planning Strategy & Land Use Bylaw Amendments - Craft Beverage Establishments

As of November, 2018 Wolfville's Town Council directed Staff to explore the possibility of making amendments to the Town's MPS & LUB in order to provide clear parameters for craft beverage-based businesses, both future and existing, in the Town of Wolfville.

TAKE NOTICE beginning at 6:30pm, on Monday, March 18th, 2019, the Town of Wolfville will hold a Public Hearing in the KCIC Auditorium of the KC Irving Centre – 32 University Avenue – on the Acadia University campus to discuss possible amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy & Land Use By-Law.

Development Agreement Proposal - PID 55274591 Gaspereau Avenue

As of September 28th, 2018 a development agreement proposal was submitted for a vacant parcel on Gaspereau Avenue (PID 55274591) that would allow for the construction of  48 residential units distributed amongst six new buildings.

TAKE NOTICE that on February 19th, 2019 the Wolfville Town Council passed a motion to enter into a development agreement with the property owner of a vacant parcel (PID 55274591) located on Gaspereau Avenue between civic numbers 209 & 225. This development agreement will allow for the construction of 48 residential units distributed amongst six new buildings.

Council’s decision to enter into this development agreement may be appealed to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board within the legislated 14-day appeal period beginning Tuesday, January 26th, 2019.
