In recognition of 75 years of the Victory in Europe, the Wolfville Pipe Band will be piping from their porches and yards at 3:00pm on Friday, May 8. 

They will be playing two tunes; The Battle's O'er and VE 75 Years. 

Keep your ears tuned Wolfville!

Do you qualify for the Low-Income Property Tax Exemption of $730?

Is your total income less than $28,000 per year (the total income includes the income of all members of the same family residing in the house)?  


You own and live in the house? 

Application Forms can be found here:  Application Form

You will be required to provide a copy of your 2019 Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency showing line 150 – Total Income (for each person). 


Deadline for applications to be submitted to Town Hall is July 31, 2020. 

If you qualify, the $730.00 Property Tax Exemption will be deducted from your Final Tax Bill in September, 2020.

LATEST NEWS: Re-Opening Parks & Trails - Premier - May 1st

We are pleased to advise the Premier has just announced that municipalities can re-open their parks and trails, but not their playgrounds or playground equipment. Physical Distancing will remain a strict priority for anyone using the spaces.

In light of this provincial announcement the Town of Wolfville parks are open and barriers will be removed over the next couple of days.

Please note that Tower Community Park will remain closed as it is located on Acadia property. As mentioned, all playground equipment in the Town is still off-limits to the public.
