Beginning at midnight Sunday July 24th, 2016, and continuing to approximately 7:00 AM Monday, July 25th, 2016, there will be a scheduled water interruption affecting residents and businesses from the intersection of Gaspereau Avenue and Main Street to Prospect Street, surrounding areas could be effected as well. The interruption is necessary to facilitate repairs to the water line.
Residents are advised to stockpile the necessary water needed during the interruption prior to midnight Sunday July 24th, 2016
Once service is re-established you may experience some discoloured water. If so, you can flush your system by running the cold water for several minutes. This will help eliminate any dirt and air that may have gotten into the lines during the upgrade. It’s best to flush through a tap without a strainer such as a bath tub tap or outside hose bib.
You may contact the Town of Wolfville Public Works Department at (902) 542-5767, should you have any questions or concerns related to the interruption.
The Town of Wolfville apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates your patience and understanding as improvements to the Town of Wolfville continue.
