These Committees make recommendations to Town Council and when Town Council meets, they consider these recommendations to help with their decision-making.
Serving on a Town of Wolfville Committee of Council is one of the ways you can get involved and make a difference in our community. There are two very rewarding parts to belonging to a Committee of Council. On a personal level, you can learn so much about the Town and its workings and, secondly, you have a voice and potentially make a positive impact on our community.

November 8 is World Town Planning Day!
World Town Planning Day (WTPD) is an international day celebrating the accomplishments of planners and their contributions to their communities. On November 8, planners in more than 30 countries participate in World Town Planning Day activities annually, a practice that began in 1949.
CIP invites you to celebrate this special day by joining the World Town Planning Day Online Conference at no cost. This is a great event for those looking to expand their knowledge on a specific topic and is an easy and interesting way for members to fulfill their Continuous Professional Learning units for this year.
