Improving Harvest Moon Trailhead

Important work will begin over coming days on the Harvest Moon trailhead and access to the trail will be closed to the public.

Repairs to fix a sink hole, repair underground infrastructure, and raise the trail will be carried out. The Town apologizes in advance for any inconvenience as we work to ensure a safe and improved trail access point for all; the work will likely take around 2 weeks and further updates will be provided on progress.

The map attached shows how you can safely access the trail both to the east and west of the closed access point. In addition, our intent is to expand and increase the number of parking spots along the North side of the area. This will involve a reduced number of parking spots being available while the work is completed.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make these improvements.
