Sealed Tenders clearly marked “WOL010-2018 Kent Avenue Reconstruction” and addressed to the Town of Wolfville, N.S., will be received at the Town Office, 359 Main Street, up to 2:00 p.m., local time, on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018.
The project is located in the Town of Wolfville. The work involves the reconstruction of approximately 350 lineal meters of street, including, but not limited to, concrete curbs/gutters, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water, base gravels, asphalt surfaces, concrete sidewalk on one side of the street and reinstatement of disturbed areas. The work also includes environmental protection and reconnection to the existing system where shown on the project drawings.
Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque drawn on a Canadian chartered bank or Bid Bond and a Consent of Surety, for the required Contract Security, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Amount Payable, and a valid “Letter of Good Standing” from the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association (NSCSA), or other approved safety certification organization, as outlined in the tender documents.
The Town of Wolfville reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, not necessarily accept the lowest tender, or to accept any tender which it may consider to be in its best interest. The Town of Wolfville also reserves the right to waive formality, informality or technicality in any tender.
